Why the backed texture and the procedural texture use the same amount of memory usage? I thought baking make things faster???

I am following the directions but when i stencil my sticker i get an error message at the bottom that says. missing textures (or link) detected... So i can see the object i want to stencil on but when i left click to start the process it does nothing and i get that error at the bottom...what am i doing wrong?

Any way to get rid of the wrinkling in the middle towards the center vertex? It's subtle but noticable

for anyone having issues with it starting the bake and then instantly stopping it, check to see if "Selected to Active" is turned on, if it is, turn it off and try again, this is the problem I had so I'm sharing!

When I set my Voronoi settings to 3D and "Distance to Edge", the only inputs are for the scale and for the randomness. I don't have anything like detail or roughness.

Would there be a need to use the adaptive subdivision in the subdivision surface modifier if I'm just using this to create a mapping image then taking it back to EEVEE and using the baked images in a new shader?
